Description

Welcome to the Finnish language club! The club is intended for primary school children (grades 1–4). Children from preschool groups in kindergartens can also participate. The program aims to support the successful acquisition of the school curriculum and the development of academic language competence necessary for studying different school subjects and for effective interaction within the school environment. The main goal of the course is to support the child’s language development, expand vocabulary, and strengthen the skills of understanding and using Finnish. The lessons foster not only language skills but also smooth integration of children into the learning process and social environment. Lessons are taught by an experienced teacher. Classes will take place once a week on Tuesdays from 19:15 to 20:00 in Kirkkonummi at Jokirinne school. Parents are responsible for arranging their children’s transportation to the lessons.
