Finnish is the language of lakes and forests, of silence and harmony. It is the key to life in Finland, to communicating with neighbors, and to understanding the culture of this unique northern country. This course is designed for beginners. The teaching is based on the textbook “Suomea suomeksi 1” by Olli Nuutinen: Link to Helmet Library https://helmet.finna.fi/Record/helmet.1434260?sid=5090441851 In our course, you will learn the basics of Finnish under the guidance of an experienced teacher who can explain topics in several languages, including Russian. We will practice correct pronunciation, learn to read and understand texts, study basic grammar, and develop communication skills in Finnish. The teacher is a qualified professional with 20 years of experience in language teaching in Finland. The course takes place twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 19:15 to 20:30, on the following dates: August 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27 The course includes 6 lessons, each 75 minutes long.
