Russian Grammar Club for 5th–6th Graders
Description
This grammar club is designed for students in grades 5–6 who wish to systematize and deepen their knowledge of Russian grammar, as well as review and consolidate its core rules. During the course, students will be introduced to the basic concepts of morphology and syntax—key areas that form a solid foundation for further language study in middle school. The course content is based on the main topics of the 5th-grade Russian language textbook edited by Ladyzhenskaya and Baranov (ISBN 978-5-09-112108-7). The material is presented in a clear and structured way, supported by examples, exercises, and analysis of common learner errors. Special attention is given to topics that students typically find challenging, as well as to developing a conscious understanding of grammatical rules, which is essential for successfully completing school assignments and tests. The club is suitable for bilingual children for whom Russian is a native or one of the native languages. Classes are taught by an experienced teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. Classes take place on Saturdays via ZOOM from 14:15 to 15:00 from February 14 to March 28, 2026, on the following dates: 14.2., 28.2., 7.3., 14.3., 21.3., 28.3.2026. The course includes 6 sessions of 45 minutes each. Please register by 13.2.2026, 11:59 PM.
